Why a CRM should be drivable from the assistant you already use
Most CRMs assume you will open a browser tab, click through to a record, and fill in a form. agentlyleads assumes the opposite: that the fastest place to ask “what happened with this contact” or “draft a follow-up” is wherever you were already talking to Claude or ChatGPT. The MCP connector exposes the same contacts, leads, deals, and pipeline the web app shows, as tools an assistant can call directly.
That is the whole shape of the product. Contacts, companies, deals, pipelines, tasks, notes, quotes, and workflow automation exist so the CRM has something worth asking about, and the connector exists so asking is not a separate step from doing the work.
Why every AI write waits for a human
An assistant that can read your pipeline is useful. An assistant that can silently change it is a liability. So reads are open (search records, pull a timeline, run a pipeline report) and writes are confirmation-gated: the assistant proposes a change and a person approves it before it lands. Outbound email goes further still. Every message the AI drafts is saved as a draft in your shared inbox, never sent on its own, so a human reads it before a prospect does.
There are also no delete tools in the connector at all. An assistant that can search, draft, and log conversations does not need the ability to remove a record, and giving it that ability is a risk with no upside worth taking.
Why the free plan is free, not a trial
The free plan is 2 seats, 5,000 contacts and leads, 25 AI actions a month, and unlimited use of the MCP connector, permanently, with no card required and no clock running out. The reasoning is simple: a connector that Claude or ChatGPT can use is worth the most when it is actually connected, and a usage cap that expires talks people out of ever trying it. Paid plans (Pro, or bring-your-own AI key) exist for workspaces that outgrow those limits, not to convert a trial before it lapses.
What holds it together underneath
Every workspace’s data is isolated by workspace id, taken from your session and checked on every query, so one tenant’s contacts are never a query away from another’s. That rule, along with how authentication, credential storage, and infrastructure are handled, is written up plainly on the security page, with no certification claimed that has not actually been earned.
